Often we tend to understand the world in terms of boundaries-of nations, races, religions etc. We think that there is much to be gained by looking beyond the boundaries. Our humble aim is to connect people by sharing our experiences of living in a globalized world with each other.

The name of the site really sucks.
I wish it was a different one to resemble the truly global aspirations of ideas and vistas…unless it is meant to highlight one stream of thought/ideology (you can easily guess what I mean), I request the people behind to change the name asap.

thanks for your criticism. but we do wish that you were a little bit more elaborate. what is it specifically that bothers you about the name?
the agenda of this site is elaborated clearly above. beyond that it is a students discussion forum, and the content is generated mostly by soliciting posts from students.
globalistan for us is quite simply a space to discuss. we do not see anything ideological about it. what do u see?
